Worship Leader

Hey!!  We are so excited to find the man or woman who will lead Mosaic Church in worship.  This position pays $100/weekend.  The worship leader of Mosaic Church must first be passionate about God and also be passionate about leading others in worshipping Him.  Mosaic Church is not about performance but instead, it is about Jesus.  We desire an individual who is comfortable singing and intentional in their leading of others in worship.  The ability to play guitar or keyboards while leading worship is even better.  Mosaic Church has some talented musicians including our lead pastor, Joe Esarey.  Joe is an accomplished keyboardist and rhythm guitarist but it is our desire to bring someone into this new position who will take some of this load from his plate.  This individual must either be proficient in Media Shout worship software or willing to learn (it's not hard to learn media shout) and load lyrics for Sunday worship either in person before the service or remotely from home.  Sound check is at 9am Sunday mornings and the countdown begins at 9:50 with the service beginning at 10am.  Approximately 15-20 minutes of modern/contemporary worship (Chris Tomlin, Bethel, Elevation, Hillsong, etc).  The worship leader will plan rehearsals with band members when they will be playing and prepare chords charts for musicians via SongSelect.  Our musicians are talented but do require some rehearsal prior to playing on Sundays.  The worship leader at Mosaic Church will have total freedom to arrange the stage/instruments as desired and prepare worship sets as they feel led.  All loading of lyrics, videos, etc into Media Shout may be done remotely.  This individual will have key code access to the facility for personal preparation any time.  We would be honored to talk with you about your interest in being the worship leader at Mosaic Church Petersburg.
