Position Summary:

This role provides support to development officers providing assistance with evaluating the analytics of territories, portfolios, best communication stratetgies, prioritizing and prospecting, event guest planning, assistance with the donor engagement plan and other projects as necessary.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Assist development officer with evaluating analytics on portfolio and possible prospects for portfolio
  • Assist development officer with creating and managing their donor engagement plan
  • Assist with evaluating the donor pipeline
  • Assist with any event planning as it pertains to the donors attending, hosts, etc.
  • May assist with thank you calls from time to time
  • May assist with reviewing certain records in Raisers Edge to update contact info
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must agree with and sign First Liberty’s Articles of Faith
  • Must possess computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Familiar with CRM databases or able to pick up new technological systems with proper training.
  • Firm understanding of the defense of religious freedoms
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a keen self-awareness 
  • Highly developed listening and questioning skills
  • Able to communicate and articulate through writing and public speaking on various public policy issues, business acumen, and general current event knowledge
  • Able to engage and serve a variety of people and personalities 
  • Highly developed listening and questioning skills 
  • Able to handle security-sensitive information and maintain confidentiality o Self-starter with great time management skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Intermittent periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer o Occasional walking, standing, stooping, reaching with hands and arms
  •  Lift up to 20 lbs. without assistance
