Direct Report: Executive Pastor

Status: Full-Time, Salary
Hours: 40-45hrs per week, Sundays-Thursdays, and occasional events as needed.
Purpose of the Role:
The Experience Pastor provides direction and oversight for the hope-filled environments of Mountain West.
Experience and Requirements:
- Ability to build and lead a cohesive leadership and volunteer team
- Ability to find, develop and train leaders
- Possess organizational and goal-oriented leadership
- Ability to lead with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Must be a strong communicator with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to strategize, plan, organize and execute inititiatives, a self-starter
- Lead and constantly improve systems and strategies that deliver excellence in results
- Cultivate a leadership development environment; coach, champion, measure, goal-driven accountability
- Possess a strong work ethic and “get it done” mentality
Primary Responsibilities and Expectations:

- Alignment and atunement with the Mountain West vision and values
- Leadership over all Experience Department Staff Members-areas include: First Impressions/Parking, Online Experience, Events/Conferences, and Hospitality.
- Manage the Experience Department Budget and ensure that financial procedures are followed
- Attend and engage in all church events, conferences, and gatherings
- Knowledge and operation of the systems and structures of MW Church
- Involvement in a MW Small group
- Continuously grow in leadership and spirituality, with a teachable spirit
- Participation in weekly staff meetings, leadership meetings, and volunteer team meetings
- Flexibility-you will be asked to do things outside of your department
