Production Assistant- New York, NY

Join the family at AM 570 & 102.3 FM The Mission/WMCA and AM 970 The Answer/WNYM. The Production Assistant role involves all aspects of the Production department as directed by the Production Director.

• Run the board for various pre-recorded and live programs
• Mix down produced and partial shows and get them ready for air
• Edit audio using Adobe Audition
• Comfortable dealing with station clients, Sales and Air Talent
• Loading in programs into our WideOrbit automation system by various means, including downloading and loading via FTP, websites, and importing files
• Comfortable with voicing spots as needed, producing spots/promos/programs with music and as required by the client and personnel
• Filling in for members of the production department and other station personnel as needs arise
• Other duties as assigned

Hard disk computer audio editing experience, preferably with Adobe Audition

Knowledge of the radio station environment including mixers and other station equipment

Good feel for scripts, script writing, and commerical & program creation.
