Calvary is a church who seeks to "Connect to God, one another, and our world through worship, wisdom, and works." The Worship and Creative Arts department is responsible for three worship services (traditional and modern) each Sunday as well as maintaining the media equipment in the worship center along with four other smaller worship spaces in the church building. Calvary is located on the edge of the Bloomington/Normal community in central Illinois. Bloomington/Normal is home to Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, State Farm Insurance Corporate Headquarters, various agribusinesses, and a Mitsubishi auto assembly plant.
